The Issue

  • 75% of adults are in employment
  • 1 in 3 have a long-term health condition
  • 1 in 8 have a mental health condition
  • 1 in 10 have a musculoskeletal condition
  • 1 in 5 take time off because of stress

Stress, depression or anxiety accounts for 44% of all work-related ill health cases and 57% of all working days lost due to ill health.
42% of people in work with a health condition say it affects their work.

137 million days are lost a year through absence.
That works out as 4.3 days for every worker in the UK and costs the nation £100 billion every year.
15.4 million working days are lost due to work-related stress, depression or anxiety alone.

The Intervention

We provide courses of educational material focusing on the causes, symptoms, treatment and management of a variety of long-term conditions, including exercises, activities and practical tips and advice.

Each library of short films is broken up into accessible sections so that people can absorb the information at their own pace, in their own time, in their own home.

Our films feature many international experts as well as patients, families and carers. All material adheres to NICE guidelines, is clinically reviewed every two years and is endorsed by leading clinicians.

The Benefits

  • Improved health outcomes for staff/colleagues.
  • Happier, healthier, more productive workforce.
  • Significant financial savings.
  • Improved perception of company’s health and wellbeing policy.
  • Authoritative digital reference guide for staff and their families.
